The Kinship course explores the complex and unusual kinship structure of the Yolngu people of north-east Arnhem Land.

This course gives you a life-changing glimpse into the original kinship care system that once operated across Australia. Understanding this system is integral to comprehending the basis of the Yolngu economic, legal and social systems as well as engaging in successful cross-cultural relationship building.

The importance of learning kinship structures when working with other Indigenous groups is highlighted in the content of these courses.

This course is delivered by Richard Trudgen. There three Chapter with 3 Lesson in each Chapter and will take between 3 – 3.5 hours to complete.
