Worldview Chapter 1
Understanding the differences between our own and other people’s worldviews is one thing we can do to facilitate better cross-cultural communication.
In the Introduction to Worldview, Richard Trudgen shares his 40 years of cross-cultural experience to show how worldview can dramatically affect what two people are saying to each other.
Chapter 1 will assist us in looking right past our everyday cultural understandings. With practice, we can better monitor what other people are hearing or what they are ‘seeing’ through their particular ‘cultural lens’ or worldview.
The Worldview Course includes Chapter 2, which explores Deeper Thoughts about worldview. We learn historical examples and develop techniques to better understand other people’s different worldviews.
