Course Description
Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 of the Worldview course will equip you with an understanding of how to better communicate with persons of diverse cultural and generational backgrounds.
In fact, worldview affects all our daily communication in one way or another. Therefore, understanding worldview from a Yolngu point-of-view will encourage you to be more sensitive to worldview’s effects on all cross-cultural communication.
We will see how our own specific beliefs, habits and life experiences can dramatically change how we perceive the world around us.
The Worldview course carries a certificate of completion and will take 1.5 – 2hrs to complete.
Worldview is our foundational first release of all the courses offered by Why Warriors, produced by Richard Trudgen.

Ratings and Reviews
Provides extremely valuable insights that are imperative to know prior to communicating in a cross-cultural situation. Good examples. A takeaway for myself - we must first test our own assumptions about the matter we seek to converse and educate about. As without doing this, we may be stumbling at the very first block - starting on a common level of understanding & interpretation of the subject.
This course helps appreciate the difficulties to be overcome in trying to communicate with anyone with different world experience, traditions, values. The course pace was a little slow for my liking, but even needing to adjust my expectations was a valuable lesson for me!
Brilliant course. I am just about to work in a community and good to be reminded of the key messages.
